Smart-Watt
Energy Center accurately meters power and energy usage on each individual branch circuit
in your facility. Energy Center utilizes a modular design that distributes the common voltages from
Power Distribution Panel to a
backplane for input to enclosed BladeMeter™ energy meters. This voltage input along with current information
provided by split-core current transformers installed on each circuit is continuously monitored by the BladeMeter™ to accurately determine the cumulative energy usage and power load for each circuit.
This is critical information needed to manage and improve your energy
efficiency.

Energy Centers' modular design greatly simplifies installation and deployment. Each BladeMeter™ can meter two
individual circuits.
Each Energy Center cabinet supports up to 21 BladeMeters™ so you can monitor between 2 and 42
individual circuits from a common power distribution panel. By utilizing split-core current transformers, installation can be
accomplished in just a few minutes per circuit without any interruption of power.
Energy Center BladeMeters™ exceed ANSI Standards for watt-hour meter accuracy so you are assured of the same
high accuracy standards public utilities require for their meters. This is an important consideration if
you intend to bill your customers for their power usage.
Energy Center supports a wide range of network reading options. You can daisy-chain multiple
Energy Center cabinets together
and read them automatically from a host computer through a Serial Port Adapter or USB Port Adapter.
With the addition of a Smart-Net Gateway you can remotely connect one or
more daisy-chained Energy Centers across
a TCP/IP network. The Smart-Net Gateway supports reading via XML based Web Services or automatically
logging your reading data to a remote FTP Server.
